Just as you would on a night out at home, stick to the sensible things you’ve been told about staying safe while out at night. You might think you’re in a safe, student bubble surrounded by like-minded people but you never know! Ladies – don’t walk home alone, don’t accept lifts from strangers and don’t accept drinks from strangers or leave your drink unattended. Try not to drink so much that you lose awareness of your surroundings and don’t let your friends leave themselves in vulnerable positions either.
