The New European is a successful Political and Cultural Publication whose Editor at Large is none other than the ex-Labour Leader, Tony Blair’s Political spokesperson Alastair Campbell!  Having been part of the Labour party’s close knit elite inner circle, Alistair Campbell had a great deal of influence over what was released to the press and how it was presented. This somewhat controversial weekly newspaper and podcast have become incredibly popular and ordinary readers everywhere enjoy the frank and forthright articles that are published by its Editor Steve Anglesey.  Founded on the 4th of July 2016, the significance of it being Independence Day isn’t lost on many of its 20,000 faithful readers.

In March 2017 when this hard-hitting publication won the rights to publish the fifth volume of Alistair Campbell’s diaries, the man himself became the Editor at Large. The extracts were written over a three-week period and contained many personal memories and details of Tony Blair and his time in Downing Street. In May of 2018 the paper rebranded itself as “The New Feminist” and the complete publication was devoted to feminism.

The newspaper became so popular that in July 2022 it completed a money raising Co-ownership scheme that through individuals investing their hard-earned money into it, they raised over £2, million pounds to purchase a 16.7% share of the publication, valued at that time at, £6, million pounds.
