So how do you go about preparing for the end of the world, and build a bunker of your own? The first thing that you need to do is plan your bunker – what will it need to protect you from? How many people will it need to hold? This will help you to ensure you have enough room to build it.
You need to then find somewhere to build it – find some land to purchase that would be suitable – planning maps will help you to make sure you have the best place possible, remember you will need to also dig deep underground so do take this into consideration.
Once you begin to build your bunker you will also need to factor in other things such as your own generator for electricity, a way to filter the air to make sure it is safe, and a suitable supply of drinking water. Many people also choose to keep their bunker secret and well concealed, as well as having more than one way in and out, in case one of the doors gets blocked for some reason.
