Autumn is here, and as well as Halloween and bonfire night we can look forward to a new winter wardrobe from somewhere like XV Kings menswear and a walk in the beautiful woodlands of the UK.

Here are some of the best places to go to walk during the autumn months…

Head to the Scottish Highlands, where you will find the highest mountain in the UK -Ben Nevis. The whole area comes alive with colour in the autumn, and you can take a brisk mountain walk, or admire the spectacular surroundings such as Steall Falls.

Stay in beautiful Scotland and head to Birks of Aberfaldy. Another place with beautiful waterfalls to admire, Birks is the old Scottish word for Birch Trees and in the autumn, you will see them around the falls putting on a dazzling display of colour.

Dartmoor National Park in the South of England is home to many beautiful parts of the countryside, and the autumn is the best time for a walk through the Teign Gorge. Enjoy the peace and quiet of this old woodland as you walk alongside the banks of the River Teign which flows through it.
