  1. The first place I recommend visiting is York. York is a beautiful walled city with cobbled streets, and a rich heritage. There are great museums to visit which are interesting for all ages. From York’s Viking, and Roman history to medieval architecture, including a cathedral (pictured above) and Clifford’s Tower which was built by William the Conqueror, there is lots to learn about this fascinating place.
  2. The north of England has industrial cities and gorgeous green countryside. The Lake District is a beautiful area in the northwest and home to England’s largest national park. If you are a fan of literature, you would enjoy visiting Beatrix Potter’s house and walking in the same stunning valleys that inspired the poetry of William Wordsworth.

  2. Lastly, to explore the rest of England, you can go to the South, where you’ll find the capital city, London, which is a must visit, as well as Brighton, which is near, and offers some great attractions such as their market lanes, and the pier. You’ll also find the beautiful Cotswolds, with towns like Bath and Cheltenham. You can visit Cornwall and Devon for great market towns and beaches.
